I have to daily post my work what i did to track what i am doing and how fast. Have to score high. Need motivation and prayers.
Have one attemptin step 1, 2002 grad .So , no way to compromise on scores .highest 3 digit score is my aim.
May God help me all all others struggling.

hey thats a very good decision u have taken to prepare 3 months for this exam 3 months intensive or 5 months slow its ur choice but thats the spirit MAY THE FORCE BE WITH US.....

hey girldoc ...good luck and yeah if you sacrifice evrything else for 3 months and dedicate all your time to studies then you will ace the exam .

Thanks for the nice input. I should do it like this trying to get tempo.
I am doing patho. But a little slow. Will try to read it fast. I am worried , an old grad and attempt in step1 . What would be my future. But trying to think positive to score high and leave all things to God.

I am doing cardio in patho try to finish patho as a subject first.then will start another subject.
Worried for my years of grad and an attemot in step1

hi girldoc firstly let me tell u stop listening to people who are in the same stage as you are, listen to everyone,thank them for their concern,be humble,but at the end of the day do what ur heart says becoz u and only you knows whats best for u,
dont listen to people when they say good abt u,dnt listen when they criticise in short TURN DEAF think abt it how can u be dependent on someone so much that they start affecting you, u feel good when they say good u feel bad when they say bad so someone else is controlling ur life.....people have bought u down in the past they might as well do it again but u have the brakes in ur hand u cant change everyone but u can change urself....
based on the above text even i am a third person becoz i am ur colleague...not experienced
but frm what i know being an old graduate is not the last thing they will see on ur application...
remember u and only u know what best for u so listen to everyone the whole world becoz they wont stop talking, but do what ur heart says....

hi girldoc ...howz the prep going so far? are you doing path from goljan ?? then sure it takes a lot of time ..but make sure you do goljan audios cuz it will help you to integrate a lot of things toghther.....and do it once more b4 ur exam .....

No doubt, goljan audio is good.
Girldoc, would ya like to share your schedule/ plan here.. I am gonna start my prep next week with exam in jul end.. will start with path.
Wish you luck with your prep. Just keep on studying and the pace will increase slowly on its own.. Persistence pays off.

Hey match , thanks for the nice encouraging words. I am doing BRS .I'll do goljan after doing that. I have the audios. My problem is , I am doing a prat time job in the morining .So , thats not that bad. I get easily 12 hours to study. Hope so I'll be finish with brs soon.
How so your studies going? What s your schedule? good luck for the prep.
I am feeling good that I have made this journal . Its very motivating specially inputs from the forum.

To sit for at least 10 -12 hours of studies .
8-10 days for lenghty subjects like patho and physio.
4-5 days for others which are not that lengthy.

I think ,I will stick to this 3 months schedule . But if I need more time may be one month or so. I'll evaluate my performance after two reads and qs to know where I stand.
For this time 3 months in my mind for prep time is motivating and less time to waste.

Taking NBME 2-3 weeks before the exam would be a good idea and relying upon the NBME score even a better one  Good Luck!

These days , I am wasting time . But I don't have to waste time now on and focus on the thing.

good luck dear, u r doing good keep going...do not stop...
do not worry abt being an old grad or an attempt..so what?? there wll be a place 4 u just focus on the task in front and inshallah u will get a high score..
me back to my FA..exam in 1 month hopefully...oh one more thing, try to do some q every day...not doing q sooner is my biggest mistake...

Thank you so much. I really needed those nice words of encouragment. I wanted to do anesthesia .But ,now after one attempt and 2002 grad, I just want to get in.
Now aim is to score high inshallah and try my best to get into my field.Hope so internal medicine may be.
Just prayers to Allah .Please help me and all others struggling.

Hey match , whats up. My prep is just going ok. But have to study alot. doing qs as well .Taking lots of time as explainations are lengthy.
