how do i know if there is a rescheduling fee??
my appointment got confirmed after reshceduling .. i even got a confirmation emal .. i called up prometric centre .. the person says she doesn't know ..
will they tell me that i have to pay after i go to the center????

I think there is the fee for extending the eligibility period ( 3 more months ), don't think there is a fee for the rescheduling of exam, if it is still within your 3 months eligibility period. Someone please correct me if I' wrong.

yeah , but if it lies within 5 days , there is .. i was just on the borderline for that day 5
anyways i'll just make sure at the center when i go for the exam .. they won't let me take the test without paying if it is due

Milee, I don't think they can accept money at the Prometric center. You will not be able to re-schedule if you have an outstanding amount with Prometric. You said it was at the borderline. Prolly you squeezed in. As long as you have the printed Confirmation Notice, with your Passport, they cannot stop you from taking the test.

If you try to reschedlue within 5 day period it will show you that you need to pay to prometric for rescheduling. I have been rescheduling my exam all teh time, everytime I rescheduiled 1 week b4 teh test. last time I tried it reschedule 4 days b4 test. It said clearly you cnanot reschedule if you do you need to pay to prometic.
so If while rescheuling you dont get any such notice u dont need to pay for it.

i postponed by 1 day and then wasted two hours worrying about the fee

maybe you should just call prometric to be sure...just so you dont run into any problems the day of the exam...i would call, just to ease my nerves.
