hi guys just took NBME form1 untimed and got a horrible score of 390 which they say is equivalent to a 188 3-digit 2ck score. that's not good right? just wondering, had i chosen the timed mode, would my score have been better with the same % of correct questions? my exam is on may 26. wondering if i can make it to the 90ies until then. have to work and take medschool courses full time and can only dedicate a limited amount of time to step2 prep. step1 was a much better experience. taking UW now, ranging somewhere in the 60% area there as of today. suggestions appreciated.

I think it is not definetly a great score, specially knowing that the form 1 is the easiest but in the other hand it is important to correlate with other indicator such us The Qbanks and so on. It is better to do the NBMEs in timed mode in that way it will resemble actual exam circumstances. You have time to improve your mark, just work hard and self-evaluate your progress with the NBME form 2, keeping in mind that a good score in ck is very important for the residency application. UW is an excellent Qbank, use it wisely. Good luck!
