Hi mates, I am so stressed out...
My exam day is in a week and I handled to waste time here and there in the last days that I know they are very important. Is this common or I am just burn out...
I am confident in getting a decent score based on my qbanks scores and NBMEs but I wish i could do better.
Anyone else in the same track? Currently I am just studying my notes, UW and FA.

hey! i'm stressed too, and a little bit scared. my test is in 2 weeks, my kaplann's score was 67, kaplan simlated 73, uw 73, nbme 1 b4 start Q: 300, nbme 2 a month later : 400.....i don't know what to expect.....now i'm checking my notes and FA....good luck on your test. please let me know how was and how do you feel.

Hi grechita12,
The NBME form 2 is the most predictable test of the real score then 400-------->191(approximate step 2 ck 3 digit score). It is up to you to know which score will make you happy but just keep in mind that the residency process is getting harder and everyone wants high scores. Your UW score is very high. Study hard in the last 2 weeks. Would be great if we hear opnions of seniors of this forum.
As for me I saw the light this morning, got 42/46 in the USMLE CD first block and realized that i sock in biostatistics, no matter how much i study this topic, it just doesn't work for me and everytime i change my first answer of any subject i get that one wrong...

you know something? that's happens to me.....every time i change an answer i got that q wrong......i plan take the nmbe 3 next week......i just don't understand why is de difference between the nbme scores and the uw scores (i'm taking the uw Q's timed and is the first time ). well, all can i do is keep studying.....keep in touch

Same thing here grechita, all i can do is just keep studying until next week because I can not re-extend this test anymore(already done it many times...)
Just re and re and re-studying UW. I think it is better to master limited resources instead of trying to read many books and just have a vague idea of everything.
Does someone know what is the treatment of the last week usmle prep intellectual malabsorption???

How was your day grechita? I am ending the day with the USMLE CD, FA and UW. It is amazing how stress can help to speed up he,he
Done with cardio in the FA book. Aiming to finish up dermato and endocrino tonight.

Good morning grechita12, in fact it is a beautiful morning here in Boston too. I am glad you said that "i know today will be a good day".
I studied many hours yesterday but also had time to watch a movie until 2:00 am because I couldn't fall asleep, woke up today at 8:30 am and now it is 9:00 am still in bed with my laptop in my lap ready to re-study UW pulmonology and hematology.

hi markus2009! how is everything? i did 46-timed-Q and scored 73 (hepato) now i'm rev the FA....i don't know why is so hard raise that score, no matter how hard i try ....... sometimes is frustrating......
keep working and go for the 99!!!!

Grechita 73% in UW hepato is a great score. Are you kidding me?
Done with respiratory and now onto hematology just my notes, FA and re-read UW. I will be happy with anything over 90 he,he.

Done with 2 blocks still 2 more to go. I am guessing a lot and having extra 8-10 minutes to review the answers. The difficulty level is like UW with a few easy questions.

hey u guys, u will do great, just believe!!
i took mine month and half ago, i actually got exact score as my nbme 1, so i dont know how that will help but just to give u a 'live' correlate, hehee.. i did go up on nbme 2, which i also had heard was more like exam, but maybe my nerves, who knows.. anyways, i didn't get a 90 and above (i read u were aiming for that markus, and u will if u believe) but i got me a 86/210 and was damn happy for myself, now only if i could get this step 1 done!!! uugghhh!!

Hey so the real exam which NBME was more representative?
Did you find NBME1 easy?
