Observership at a Private Clinic?

Hi everyone
I 've got the opportunity to do an Observersip at a private clinic.Should i go for it? Is it worth it? Your opinion please?

IF that's the only thing you have on hand, then definitely go for it! During your time Observing there, see if you can manage to make any other contacts who may allow you to shadow/even assist him/her. One chance can often bring you another opportunity.

At least you make a start, then you will be easy to find observership from other places like university hospitals.
I want to get a chance to be observer. Can you tell me how to find it? Any tips will be appreciated!

I guess different people have different ways. I got my observership opportunity mainly by friends' help. I first emailed all my friends no matter whether they are in medical field or not, asking them to introduce me to any possible connections in private clinic or hospital. I also visited my previous boss who is a physician, and my other boss's collegue who is a physician, they promised to help for the hospital opportunites. I am still waiting for that.

So in my case, I go with connections, directly or indirectly. GL.

hi everybody,do i require to clear any steps for observerships.i ud take step 1 this december and plan for obsership some time during nov nxt year.shud i start applying now...i am doing pg in obs/gyn..can i get obsership in same stream ....which colleges/university offer it....i am frm INDIA...pls help...

I think I will do the same. This is one good thing about families. wink
