hello everybody....i have a query regarding screening for colon cancer.. according to kaplan notes....if polyps have been found on a previous colonoscopy then repeat colonoscopy should be done in 3 to 5 yrs. according to kaplan q bank... pts who have had a tubular adenoma or vollous adenoma removed have 2 subsequent annual inspections of entire colon preferably with colonoscopy and alternatively with barium enema if total colonoscopy cannot be performed. If no additional polps r identified in these examinations the screening can subsequently be performed every 2 to 3 yrs... which one to go with?
