hello friends
m back
trying to begin slowly
just read 7 pages of obgy yesterday
doing some paperwork
have taken uworld
i know i will score terribly low if i begin without reading ,
but i am very low on time
i have step 2 ck in july around 17-18
and step 2 cs on june 7
so effectively i will have 50 days to study for step 2 ck
today i will complete atleast one chapter on obgy
and 10 q's in uworld
and 1 case of CS from first aid , and 1 video of uworld for cs
just a warm-up
i have taken step 1.. 3 days back
wanted to take a week's break for document work . but don't want to lose touch with books and the habit of reading. so will do atleast one hour for 4-5 days
and then start full fledged
happy studying!!!

HI everybody
i m back finished with IM read for second time finally. i think it took me 1 n 1/2 month i am very slow.
now starting peads and i better get serious now.i ll try to finish it in 5 days i think its possible coz i ve read it once. now i need to do this coz ive already wasted alot of my time need to give exam by first week of june.
actually i ve this excuse of not studying b/c of my one year old daughter but i know i can manage it b/c many ppl do.
today ve spent half of the day but will try to do atleast first 4 chapters of peads no matter how late it gets. best of luck to me and all other out there preparing for exam

will do kaplan and first aid and uw
will it be enough i feel i hardly have any time

I'm solving the UW-pdf these days and it's great , thanx for it 
and at the same time trying for the 3rd or 4th time [ don't remember] to study Pediatrics,
hope I can beat it this time

To NANY...........Thank u so much for ur nice feelings;but really my birthday is on 21/5.
To MILEE 99........Try to use any notes beside UW..I`d suggest FA.many ppl use it in addition to UW...anyway,If U focus on explanation of each UW question,I guess u`d get enough knowledge at leat highyield stuff..good luck

hi everyone, I'm glad this forum exists. I have been a chronic procrastinator for this exam and I really need to get this over with! I need some motivation and words of encouragement and hope you guys out there can help me!
Well, this is my current plan (it keeps changing every week but I am determined to make this the final one!).
I must take the NBME practice exam by may 20...I've been too scared to take it (can u believe it)
I think the key to this prep is take each day at a time and not to panic.
So best wishes everyone...and let's do this!!!
My goal for the next 11 days is to review Medicine and Peds.

usmle_exam: i know..it is scary cuz sometimes we get scores we dont expect,,and get deppressed.....but u know what??? it is better now than in the the exam..and what is the worse thing that can happen???? u will know where u r standing,,know ur weakness,,and fix it,,,,

To Usmletopper2...Yes NMS is one of the known question sources.I have it and plan to go through it later on.
