I am using Blue prints for pediatrics , step up to medicine for IM and rest kaplan.
Planning to finish a block in Peds and revise whatever rest peds I did . Have 7 hrs to go . Also want to do some IM (GIT).
Good luck studying everyone, have a productive day and focus , focus and focus.

Hi.
I have started 2day with UW..I `m doing IM first.
It is really great ..not only a q bank,but also an interresting tool for revision instead of rereading
take care frnds&STUDY HARD

Hey frnds.where have u been reached till now?
I`ve done with UW electrolytes,nephrology and rheumatology....Doing Pulmonology now..In parallel to this I`m reviewing ObGyn,Psych and surgery from Kaplan highlights course videos...I wish if I could finish UW soon to start with NBME and NMS
So how are ur plans going?

great going egyusmler, I have to finish 1 block of IM from qbook and review that. Didnt revise the peds as thought i would.

Hi toolzytostudy,
Stepup for IM is a very good book, When I first read from kaplan, i was adding extra notes from UW all the time but when you are using stepup, you don't need to add notes from UW all the time.It is easy to understand , I love this book.

Agree with mm2000. I too found stepup better than kaplan. You don't have to look into reference books all the time, and don't have to make notes from UWorld qs most of the time.
Is anyone doing Kaplan qbank? How is it? Or any other qs source besides UW ?
Please help.

Hi bcell,
I am using Kaplan Qbank i think its not the same as UW but you know doing more and more questions is good for the practice, besides if you are doing Kaplan LN then it will be kinda revision for you too.If you can do both great but if you want to do only one Qbank i would suggest to go for UW.

i am done with UW qs (almost twice) and don't know if I should do Kaplan or not, but thanks for letting me know.
I really have no idea about Goljan step2 lectures.

with u ,going to take it at mid of june insha allah , read notes , and did kaplan Q bank 72% and UW first time 55-60% second time 85% now doing FA questions and NMS then insha allah will do kaplan Q bank again

i didnt try it till now , but one from my friends recommend it for me , i downloaded it , it is widely avilable on net see smso forum , only if u have time do it , many many did take usmle exam without it and got in the 99 , all said kaplan notes + Uw is good and complete enough , but i really recomment if u have time to do kaplan Q bank it is not less difficult than uw if not more! . i mean the new kaplan Q bank

Yes Moslem Doctor FA Q&A is one of the recommended q books for CK,but as u said it is inferior to UW and even NBME....I put a link below if anyone here likes to try the book....
Anyway,pleased to meet u moslem doctor.......
as regards to kaplan q bank,r u doing the online or offline version?..I have an offline version 2005 but I think it is not well organized..do u think is it worth joining online?

yes i did the online kaplan Q bank it is really so good , yes have many of Question i never belive such format or content can appear in the real exam , however it is a very good source for the exam
