my parents are US green card holders.

my immigration has been filed for by them.

does it weaken my CS visa interview?

can they refuse my visa just because the strong ties with my native country i.e India are missing.... ?????????????????

that's what i've bee hearing ... but actually its weird... its only a matter of few years that i will get my own immigration done..... can't they see i'l be gettnig it anyway.... actually it doesn't make sense to me but that's what i've heard and it worries me.

i am very nervous... if anyone had ever been through such a situation, kindly share your experience here..... my CS is in early june and i need to book an appointment for interview soon.

any help/suggestions on this.

Hi SOS

i just came thru this topic you put here and it reminded me of one of my friend who was in the same situation . I wont dishearten you but will say one thing for sure that make sure you carry the right and strong documents which will show strong connection to your homeland. MY friend missed her 21st bday by few days and after that her parents had to file when she was in college and then unfortunately she was refused.

I know these rules are weird and one example doesnt quotes for everyone's else case ...but just make sure you go there double prepared cuz your parents being greencard holder shows your strong ties to US . just trying to help you ....goood luck with evrything

goooood luck with everything.

I'm so sorry but I think you will be refused as long as you have under-processing immigration status .

Good Luck !
