I was just woundering if any one knew....
1)how well does uw final score/nbme score estimate your actual usmle score?
2) what 3 digit score on nbme is passing? what is a safe score on nbme that indicates a passing score on usmle?
3) Right now i am @ 380 nbme -->188 estimate. Is it possible to raise your score in the last 2 weeks?
5) is it just me because i could have sworn that some of the questions on my nbme were on my usmle world? is that normal? does that make my nbme score inaccurate?
i am on the fence about taking this exam since its in 2 weeks and i have cs scheduled a month after ck so do you guys think my score can be raised 20 to 40 points by keeping at it because if its not possible then i might as well come back after cs and give it another try.

hey it's cutting it close, when i went to pass program they used to tell ppl that 420 on these forms was as safe as u can forsee, but then again there's no guarantee on any of this rite? so study u FA lots, or redo u kaplan notes in 12days if u can (6 days im/peds -do corresponding sub in medicine and peds so u can do 2 for 1) then do like 3 days obgyn, 2 days surg, 1 day behav/epi) that way u can take another nbme with time enuff to see how much u improve, then u can reschedule if need be, or take it if u do good!!
u have lots of time, no specific % is there, but im sure 60s is good (i dont know if ur aiming 99 or watever) and im sure if u know the concepts then u answered u nbme correct, nbme type q's are on u exam, they wrote nbmes, they write exam u will be taking. so i say do good on u nbme's, that is main important thing, good luc!!

thank you again appreciate your post hottie 99 i will keep at it and re-evaluate myself in 10days...if it looks good then i'l take it if not then reschedule. I hope can get my score up from 380 to 420....sounds unrealistic now, but i'm working on it
