BEFORE YOU READ ANY FURTHER: This post is not directed at any one program in particular Hi, I'm a 2009 prospective match applicant and maybe I'm just being really blonde but would it kill the program directors and coordinators to organize their webpages????????? I have been surfing on FREIDA and some of the program webpages are just crazy. The information is not organized or just not there. Navigating through the individual websites of some of these programs is like being lost in a maize. Its like someone with a bad case of ADD designed some of these webpages!!!!! Some are really informative mind you, but others...........well lets just say I got cross eyed by the time I gave up last night. Its great that you talk about your long standing reputation, and what the weather is like in your state but how about making a list of FAQs, talking about application requirements and eligibility criteria. That's the first question on every applicant's mind. Everything else is secondary. You probably are extremely busy but I'm sure you wouldn't get flooded with so many emails and phone calls if you would just ORGANIZE yourselves. Sorry........but I had to get it off my chest. Didn't mean to offend anyone. XOXO cartman

very few web sites don't post their FAQ or application requirements or anything of that sort... pay attention to little links and options, it's usually in the "residency" department, or "grad education" or aomething along those lines

From a program point of view: I have been fighting with our web master for years on this subject, but since our page has to look like the hospital, there is only so much that I can do. Yes, I have a FAQ on my page, it is updated. From the emails that I received from applicants who state they they checked on the web page and are interested in my program, will I now answer their questions - WHICH ARE ALL ANSWERED ON MY WEB PAGE (d'uh, I based my answers on many questions asked here. No offense - sometimes a good rant makes us all feel better. Now I need coffee.

None taken bbb, I call for a good rant every week on P4U. Like I said some webpages are really helpful and you don't need to email / call anyone. Others........well you get the idea. Speaking of webmasters..........here I go again. They're just another breed all together. Our IT guy has to be the most antisocial creature that has ever walked the face of the earth. Click on the link below and you will see what I mean.......I work with Nick Burns http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-39125197...
