Hi Friends

I'm not sure that whether this question is suitable under this forum or not. Is anybody facing problems in the Illinois State for licensure? I passed out more than 2 years back from my Med School in India(2.5 years precisely) and I'm not sure that whether The Board(Illinois State Board) will consider my work experience in India. So I don't know whether I need to earn CME Credits for Temporary License. I went through all the threads of previous years but never came across a concrete answer.

Kindly advise regarding the thing if anybody has gone through the process or is undergoing through it.

Thanks a lot

mann

umm...from ur question what i understand is that u r saying that you graduated from your med scool 2 years ago & now u wanna know if cme credits r required for getting residency in il?...if that's teh case then the answer is yes...u do need around 200 hrs of cme credits if you graduated frm med scool 2 yr agon...that's what the program were i intereviewd at told me & they also mentioned that it's the erquirement to get residency in il but it doesn't mean that if u won't do it then the program won't offer u an interview....they do invite u for interview & then tell u tht u need to do that b4 lor submission deadline & send them a prroof of that...u can easily do cme online& tell the program....but if ur question is that u hvae done residency in US & now need liscensure in il then sorry buddy don't know the answer to that.

GOOD LUCK!!!grin
