Hey guys...I am just finishing studying the KAPLAN notes for step 2...and i l
am a little pressed for time.... i know this has been discussed a million times but i am trying to decide between using

1) Kapan QBook first then UW or

2) Kaplan Qbank first then UW

In the interest of time i am leaning towards the first option....pls pls let me know if would just as good as the second as far as consolidating kaplan material before doin UW...

Pls feedback however little is appreciated because this would affect my entire preparation scheduling. I am aiming for 240 + and i have a similar step 1

Kaplan q-book is too easy. If you have the time and the money, one month of Kaplan q-bank and one month of usmleworld are good for you. Or watever time you have for Kaplan q-bank. usmleworld is a must. Take notes to be read during the last 2 weeks. Good luck!

thanks for the reply......i see ur point UW is a must but i guess wat i m really asking is if qbook is sufficient for MASTERING kaplan in the interest of time before taking on uw ?

As artele said, Qbook is very easy and not sufficient for mastering Kaplan.

Once you have read lecture notes, you will get around 85% correct in Qbook.

That doesn't mean you have mastered what you should master for usmle.

My opinion: If you don't have time for entire Qbank, do Qbook before UW and take your time on UW with thorough review of Kaplan Notes.
