Hi friends
I just gave my step 1 yesterday..... and i think i'm going to pass...
so i want to start preparing for CS without wasting time and also without getting onto the habits of being lazy and doing nothing... after which studying seem like the most difficult thing on the world....
but the trouble is i don't know anything about CS prep...
so kindly guide me as to how and where to start...
my CS is on june 3rd ,in Chicago.

my exam was okay..... overall it was good i guess but i am anxious about the result.
i am getting flash backs of questions that i did wrong and i have made blunders in some questions..... ironically i will get one question wron just because i did a wrong math..... 
can you please tell me how to start about CS prep?what material do i need ?
when are you going to give CS?

YA,,,me too..I had my exam on 31st of march.....and begining to get anxios.....
my exam is june 18th but looking for a closer date,,,
so we will study from first aid CS,,,,,and lets put a plan how to do this...
any help will be appretiated from those who finished this exam....

SOS-I am in a situation identical to yours. I attempted Step 1 on 7th April and am going for CS next. Dates taken on 12th June at Houston. CK in another month after that. No time to waste. Got the Kaplan texts and videos at hand. Its tough to complete but not at all impossible as I believe.
About the visa- are you applying now or will wait for the results to come out?

i use FA and UW,
i wish we can go through cs togeather
my exame will be in chicago on 27 jun.

i have some querries regarding the visa interview.... can you please guide me a little.
firstly where and when are you going for the interview.... you said your exam is on 7th june .. so how early can you go for the interview? like mine is on june 3rd and i was told by friends not to go for the interview before one monthf of the dated of exam..is it true?
what did you write in the column which says how long you want to stay.

hey i'm here too.
exam's 13th may, chicago.
most people write down 2-4 weeks in the column. i wrote 2 weeks. but how long u r allowed to stay depends on the whims of the official at the port of entry, not on how long u write it down. so dont worry bout that. but try n write down a short duration.
like i told u before its not really important that u schedule ur interview date within one month of the exam date.
in fact what the visa site tells u is that u should apply atleast ONE MONTH in advance of the expected date of departure because it can sometimes take up to one month to process the visa, although usually it takes only a couple of days.

same here.... even i am more worried abt the visa than the exam...
i have written 6 months...
but if they ask me i'll say... i'll be back soon after the exam.....
which is a big time lie
i just tht of going to the US at least a month b4 so i applied...
my potential travel date is 10th may.
