bianca, in my experience first days of UW takes a lot of time, but as u do more q's u can do them in less time as u have covered some concepts already and speed improves with practice regarding noting down points, make it as short as possible.u don't need to copy whole explanation or objective, instead , if u feel whole explanation is important then mark it and review all the marked q's next day morning.that will save a lot of time. as u r doing in tutor mode, when ever u come across any explanation which u didn't know check that in ur prep book once and even then if u feel that u r not familiar ,then note down that ppoint. hope this helps, good luck buddy

Hi bhanusupriya Thanks a lot... I hope it gets better with time and with doing more questions. I wanted to avoid looking at the books while taking the test though since it seems to take even longer that way...But if you suggesting that i might as well try it.. Thanks again.

I wont start doing UW till Im done with my first read. You never know, probably what you think isn't written is actually already there somewhere in your books! If you are really tempted to do Qs why not do Q book and last of chapter Qs first? I rather use UW when I read all my books so I dont waste it. Of course I need to keep ENOUGH time for IT during second read.

Hi praying4a99 Thanks for the advice.. Well actually i am done with my first read..Guess couldnt retain much I do agree that its all there in the notes atleast most of it is but i guess in the ques you have to integrate everything so it seems new. But well now that I have started it guess I ll stick to it...Will do Q Bank later if I am left with time. Do you think I should also try to do the ques given at the end of each chapter?

Im sorry. I thought you were still in your first read. My mistake. Concentrate a lot on the Q explanations. Everyone I know praises UW.

Hi guys, this is my advice: Don“t use the tutor mode.Having the explanation right there is not at all like the exam. Try it timed or untimed (but then answer qs within 60min) from the very beginning. This way you train yourself right away for the style in the actual exam. Afterwards review the block that you just did. From qs that you did right, only read the educational objective on the bottom. Comments from questions that you did wrong you should read entirely. I wrote some explanations from the comments down, but I tried only to use two lines to write it down. That way you shorten and edit the information just as you need it. I think these are some good ways to speed up your time with UW but they might not fit everybody. Good luck!

hey all, i am facing the same problem with UW explanations, that i temp to write all the explanations down.i am actually making a huge book of all explanations (which ever i feel imp)but at the end i find myself writing mostly all of it.i am done with my first read long time back and now with the second read doin the questions .even though it takes hell of time ,it helps a lot to write it down and then read again the written material again.this is wat i am doing..any suggestions to improve it will be appreciated. thank u .
