Let me introduce myself to this forum. I am an old graduate( graduated in 2000) from India. I have been in the role of a house-wife and mom since then. My little Angel is starting her school this year and so I will have a few hours for studying on the weekdaysnod. I don't know how will I manage on the weekendsshaking head! Being an old graduate and that too out of touch with medicine in all these years, I do not know what chance will I stand in finding the residency even if I pass the Steps. Still I want to give it my best shot. I am getting really...desperate to be back on my Career Track. I am starting this Journal today as the first step to my USMLE journey. I am planning to write Step1 by the end of this year, which means I have nearly 8 months for the prep. Serious study starts from tomorrow i.e 4th April. Ready, Steady & Go...........

1st week of April-

Did a quick reveiw of General Embryology and CNS embrology from Langman's. I know it may sound stupid why Langman's ! But being out of medical school for 8 years, I was in need of a foundation to start with. After reading Langman's I am feeling much more confident as hopefully I can now understand the terms written in Kaplan Anatomy.
