has anyone tried typing the patient notes? i am very efficient in typing, and my writing is slow. i am considering typing over writing. so i want to confirm that one can type the pt notes in the exam.

Yes. You can type. If you select to type, you have to type for all the cases. I did write on my notes. But many American students typed.

Then, when you practice, practice typing on the computer all the time.

Just a tiny correction; you can type or write for any single case. So you can type for one case and use the paper for another, but once you chose one option for a single case then you cannot use the other option for that same case only.

nice point, to keep in mind. but what circumstances would force one to abandon a method and resort to the other, in the middle of writing/typing?
