hi there, can anyone tell me what other word i could use to describe an ultra-sound exam to a patient? that is, what would i call it, in lay terms?

CT = picture
MRI = picture??
x-ray = picture
ultrasound = sound waves to make a picture?

any help would be great. thanks.raised eyebrow

ultrasound exam is a technique which is noninvasive in which we use a probe and we run it on your abdomen n get picture of wat is inside

this is answered wen SP asks u what is ultrasound
