According to my kaplan notes, pyruvate kinase is more common. I would say its also more severe, but not sure

most common is G6PD def , PK def is second most common.
most chronic and severe is PK def

you're right about G6PDH being the most common and pyruvate kinase being second.Question about chronic and severe.
PK def is chronic anemia,and G6pdh is usually episodic and maybe chronic.But isn't the severity dependent on amount of enzyme in cells.As it shows wide variance?
