Hello everyone, some of the hospitals mention that they require a minimum of 3 months USCE. By that do they mean a single observers post to last 3 months or do 3 observers posts 1 month each would do? Also some of the docs only have clinics once a week, usually the specialists...so 1 month of observers just means 4 clinics...is that sufficient???

I really need help on this one plz, any kinda input is welcome.

Thanks.

3 mnths separately at diff hospitals or at the same is one and the same in terms of mnths of experience....u need LORs from ur obbservership place that will note stuff u did so doing just 4 clinics isnt a good idea...regular visits to the floor, rounds, conferences is a better idea...

Agree with mukho. 4 times for a month would mean much less than a whole month of rotation. I guess in the matter of USCE, the more the better, the longer the better.
