Hi Liby

Actually a 60% in genetics and molecular bio is not bad at all (considering that these are difficult topics and you are definately not alone in thinking that they are tough!). I basically learned them by reading the explainations in q bank but did not try to memorize the solutions (especially in genetics).

Even if you are not very strong in these topics, it's okay because they do not make up the bulk of the exam. Personally, I had an average of 3-4 per block at the MOST (20-30 total) although I can't be sure what your experience will be like.

You only have a few days to go. I assume you have studied to the best of your abilities. No one ever goes into that exam knowing everything (if they tell you otherwise, don't believe them). If I were in your place, I would glance over first aid and not let these two minor subjects take my focus away from the rest of the exam. If you do happen to get them on the exam, just treat them as other problems and don't waste too much time on them.

Best of luck to you

Congratulations on sitting the exam, sat mine almost 2 weeks ago but am reluctant to give my experience before receiving my score.

Just a word of advice, the usmle is becoming very cautious on reduplication of exam material and your experience is a little too specific vis a vis questions so i would suggest editing your posts to remove anything that might indicate you personally (i know you are trying to help others but look out for yourself first and only give general tips if you can)
Sorry for coming accross like a party pooper, but it is probably for the best.
