A 67 year old man with long standing signs and symptoms of CHF is admited to hospital bcz of progressive shortnes of breath. X ray of chest shows cardiomegaly, cephalization of blood vessels, and right sided pleaural effusion. which of the following set of pleural fluid finding is most likely inthis patient..?

Effusion due to heart failure is transudate.
Protein content of pleural fluid: that of plasma < 0.5
WBC count should be within normal range 1500-2500.

as the above post said - its transudative
so the protein levels should be below 3 - rules out C,D,E
the glucose levels should be normal (around the same as blood levels) - rules out A
answer B
