external laryngeal nerve supplies cricothyroid muscle others with recurrent- injured with ligation of inf thyroid

i hope they stop in the exam at this level cause if they ask about the actions of these muscles or complete versus partial injury of recurrent laryngeal i will be devastated!!!

External laryngeal branch of the superior larygeal supplies the cricothyroid. As far as its action is concerned, I think it relaxes the vocal cords, so changes the pitch of the voice. Do correct me if i am wrong though. The corect answer to the above question is off course D
