Hi to everyone , i am an old grad with multiple attempts well i never participated in the match last year ( only in the scramble) i am a green card holder , i do have some connection , so i will be meeting with a program director tomorrow i already know that i will do some externships or rotations with him and in the hope that i will be able to get a residency spot at his program so tomorrow it will be like an interview ...my question is : is that a good start and if he agreed on seeing me , will that be a hope for me to get a spot later and one more thing when is the earliest thing for people to get a contract for the next year ...thank you uys

Do you mean when can he offer a position for 2009? If it's out of the match - any time that he wants.

thank you all wish me luck i hope it is a good sign too, i really appreciate your help .......
thank you bbb that is what i exactly wanted to know i mean outside the match ..because i do not think i will have any chance during the match ...my low scores and attempts ...too much negative ....
