man colicky pain cant find comfortable position

suspect kidney stones 1st episode

what do you do next?

A. Urinalysis
B. Abd xray KUB
C. IVP
D. Abd Ultrasound
E. Abd CT
F. analgesia hydration bedrest

In my clinic I was ordered to have A (found proteins +, RBC ++, WBC--) and then B and then C immediately after they saw a stone shadow in left kidney pelvis.

So, my answer is A.

In acute abdominal pain immediate analgesia is contraindicated...
