I am so happy to find this very helpful website. I hope it will motivate me to work hard. I need to pass with high colors!
My study sources! Mostly "hand me down" stuff from friends.
1. Kaplan USMLE series, organ based review books
2. First Aid 2005
3. Step Up
4. BRS Physio
5. BRS Patho
That's it for now. I don not want to overwhelm my "already overwhelmed SELF"
My aim is to read Kaplan at least 2x. Step Up 5x, BRS at least 2x and FA 10x!!!
I am setting my hopes and goals high. No where to go. Got to Pass!!Rainbow colors, high colors! whatever.. I will do whatever it takes. I know it will do me more good than bad later on in my life.
3/28--- General Principles 153 pages.

Wow this is a busy thread. people are so motivated. Love it!
I finished my 1st reading in Gen. principles from kaplan. Embryo, Histo, Pharma & path. I can see my motivation is up. As I have read when you set your mind to it.. you'll get it!!
Same language for everyone here.. That is work hard, success, prayers, high motivation, etc.. etc..
My schedule for today.. 50 pages of FA .
I will read fast this time so i can do questions when I feel ready. I know it's a hard work that's why I have this journal to record how I am doing. No time to be sloppy.

Good Morning journal,
Got up sooo motivated today. I will finish up my FA then will make my schedule for this whole week.
I read:
1. Decide what is essential & what is low yield.
2. Make a study plan & how much you will study each day & then follow it. Treat study time like a job.
3. Take charge of your preparation and you will take charge of your exam.
Iwill follow these and be very diligent in my studies. I have been doing good for the past 2-3 days.

Thanks for the welcome precious, 5FU, & ssneha. I guess you 're the 1st three friends of mine here.
I am done w/ my FA first reading. Yaiiii!
I will be starting my system wise review. I think I can retain more this way and in the long run i know where's my weakest area. At this of my studies I am weak in ALL areas. But it's not impossible to work harder. Right? RIGHT!!!
4/2- Wed.- start CVS & Resp. Kaplan
4/3- Thurs: Renal/ Urology Hematology/Lymphoreticular
4/4 Friday: Catch up Day!!
I can do it if I set my mind to it!!

I did a little good I must say. I finished my CVS.. Embry & Antomy, Physio sems long & need understanding so i hope it won't slow me down. Got to do house chores now. Will continue reading in an hour.

I see this people who are soo motivated in studying for step 1. It's good. I can't keep up, I will try to keep up even just the motivated part.
Wiiiii! I am almost done with my Hematology... i have started studying subjectwise from Kaplan. The cardio physio slowed me down .. big time!!!
AnywayI will catch up until my brain falls out from reading. Being said that I shall START NOW!!
