In muscle contraction, the calcium allow the actin, myosin, and ATP to interact  contraction= the Ca is important for the contraction  no Ca= no contraction
Now, how do you explain the hypocalcemic tetany??Hypo Ca  Tetany???
Thanks for explaining

Hypocalcemia decreases threshold for action potential, It is not intracellular calcium that was depleted.... i hope
