If you are interested in Fellowship in a certain specialty, is it better to take the elective rotation of that specialty during your first year or during the second year when your knowledge base is better.

Please respond!!!

Thanks

Early in your second year is the time to start doing that elective....

hi friends,
i had an unusual interview offer call from a PD saying they they are interested in interviewing me for Geriatrics fellowship program. i was shocked to hear that, and asked whats going on, she said since i have been doing additional course work in that department , they can take me in to fellowship program directly and later on in to residency program, they are yet to set up an interview date, and i am wondering how to face this interview, guys please tell me how to prepare this interview, i have no clue...
