I've got the resut today around 10 am. PASS!

Finally after a long wait the result is out !!!! I have managed to pass my CS in first attempt grin

!!!!!. gave my exam in houston centre on Feb 9th . prepared for the exam atleast 1 month which i think was more than enough. Thnx to to all those people and this forum whose advice and tips made this exam look very doable. TO all those who are preparing for this exam keep reading what mistakes people generally do and find ur weakpoints and work hard on it. FA and UW is more than enough for this exam . Best thing is to always practice with someone who has his exam close to yours and if this is not possible try practising alone or with ur friends. I tried initially doing it with my husband but it was no help cos he didnt know what was i asking and how to evaluate me and what were my mistakes . raised eyebrow

Its always good idea to practice with a a stopwatch from the begining and instead having 15min try 14 mins cos in real exam u will need more time to make patient move around when u are examining him/her . With this practice , it really helped me on day of exam that i was able to finish my each case 1-2 min earlier.
On the exam day try to be calm as u can but i know this is notpossible specially on ur first case , i remmember my voice trembling in the begining while i counseled my patient but thats okay , everyone goes thru this stage but the key point is to forget what u did in previous case and move ahead . I acted as though i am seeing a patient in my clinic and this really helped me ease my nerves nod

After more than 3 hours of psychologic torture to open the oasis page , I finally could and it was so nice to read that I

I have met all the requirements for ECFMG CERTIFICATION .

That s a good feeling y all nod

. Time to celebrate and get ready for step 3 grin

You won't believe how much I am glad for you, man!!! Big, huge, humongous congrats!!! Now you are a full-blown American doctor as well!!! I am so glad that our late night talks haven't become useless!!! Give me a call, and let's decide how we hit step 3 now... I am plan to sit for it in late July... Give me a call!!!
