Hi all
I am a new step 1 taker.... pls advice me if its safe to buy second hand material from online adverts... I am concerned as these cost quite a bit and I am not sure if the sellers r authentic..... if u have had any experience pls share it with me....

I have a experience only with eBay, where one should look at seller's history, that is how long is a seller registered, what are the buyers feedbacks ( positive or negative ), how much did the seller sold ..... If you find a good seller, you should not have any problems.

Yes, I agree. I've bought some used books from Ebay, and was happy with the price and the promised condition of the book, too. Each sale is different though, and you should choose accordingly.

Hmm. i only buy off amazon.com . sometimes i search craigslist, it is a webpage for every major city, and people post their items. but with that, you have to go to the person's house to pick it up, that way you can see foryourself if you want it. NEVER send your money info or through the mail for craigs list.
i personally, would use a site that is highly trusted.
i know there are a few sites like usmleblog spot or something, where it has like everything you can think of for such low prices.
i have personally never had experiences with those, so ii can not help, im sorry.
alot of classmates, just burn eachothers kaplan videos. and photocopy eachothers notes. that might be useful and money saving for you.
there are a ton of links on this site. look into it, a lot of stuff you can download, or just print out.
