My question is,If i do fellowship b4 residency ,what are my chances for getting residency after fellowship.

Your chances are much higher than doing a residency before because you'll have 1-2 years of US clinical experience plus some American LORs. All said assuming that you are an IMG who is about to finish his residency back his home country.

Yes this is just an option ,I want to know that doing fellowship first,and finding doing residency later .It is possible but I know Rarely done. Does anybody you guys know did before?

I know that it is very possible.. first you'll do your fellowship and then U'll wanna stay in states so you'll go ahead and do the residency and get board-certified.

Its very much possible , I was offerd geriatric psych fellowship at a good university , Its a good idea if you plan to go back to your home country but if you plan to settle down in US , residency is must to practice in US.

What are the requirements for doing fellowship before residency?I heared you have to have done some residency in your own country.can anyone give me any website address for the info?
