Hello
I am a foreign medical student from New Delhi, India.
I will take my step2 CS in apr end and hopefully will take step 1 by Jul end and step 2ck by october.
I am not sure if I should go ahead and apply for 2009 match or should I wait an year.
I am currently doing elective rotations for two months at a university which has a good Internal Medicine program and is IMG friendly. I am pretty confident that i will get atleast 3 good LORs from here which should increase my chances for a residency spot atleast at this program.
But I am not sure if applying without step2 ck is a good idea.
Any inputs are appreciated. Thank you.
PS: I am interested in getting an H1b Visa

I think you should go for it ...apply at places where step2 ck IS NOT A REQUIREMENT...if money is not an issue you can give it a try and as soon as your ck result becomes available you can update the programs.
