54 epistaxis for last 10 days on and off no past medical hx exept resless leg syndrome for which he is taking Quinidine 6 weeks ago. Exam with pitchae in floor of mouth . dried blood in the nose skin scattered echmosis in LL lab:
Normal exept Platlet count 32,000( No bleeding time show) what is the most appropriate intial step?
BM biopsy
Determination of bleeding time
DC quinidine
Platlet transfuson
Vasopressin therapy

is it intial step? how abou BT determine ? I am not sure need expert opinion

platelet count is low. with visible syptoms of thrombocytopenia...warrants Quinidine stoppage... b4 further investigations
