Reading kaplan medicine notes at the end of cardiovascular chapter there's a table of hemodynamic patterns in which appear a elevation of SVR for late septic shock..is that correct? Isn't vasodilation what predominates?
Is there a difference in SVR for early or late septic shock?

yes..late septic shock has same features as hypovolenic shock.... so SVR increases. i...

CO high PCWP low SVR low Sys venous O2 high

late septic shock

CO low PCWP low SVR high SVO2 low

What is the difference between shock and Hypotension ??
