some kind soul please let me know about this NJ St Francis surgery program, i have got a call from them ..should i accept it ? it is a community based program and only surgery and IM residency program there .. please someone suggest

Hi copd, I actually did my surgery rotation there. You can't compare it with University programs, but it's great among the community ones. There were plenty of diverse cases, and the attendings there are nice (not so arrogant) and really into teaching. I'd take the spot any time. Good luck!

thanks cozaar ... so according to you it is good... it is the one affliated to seaton hall univ at NJ .. i hope u are refering to the same thanks for the input ..i really dont have anything else in hand so i guess how busy was it ... u kn????

Yes, it's the same program that you're referring to. It's busy but not that bad though.

copd, what's your visa status? The people from stfrancis told a friend of mine that they didnt accept applicants on visas.
