What is the most common location of osteomyelitis in adults? robbins says "any area of the bone may be involved in adults" UW: "the vertebral body is the most common location for hematogenous osteomyelitis in the adult"...

as far as i remember for kids it's metaphysis for adult it's vertebra both explained by vascular supply (since hematogenous spread)
