Name the lymph node involved in :

1. In anorectal carcinoma
2. in testicular carcinoma
3 renal carcinoma

3.para aortic

Hey !

I read that anorectal carcinomas involve superficial inguinal nodes(medial part of horizontal chain) .IS that true ?? :roll:

:arrow: yep, testicular.---> paraaortic
:arrow: renal ---> inferior mesenteric nodes .

If anybody would like to add points, you r welcome

According to high yield anatomy,
Testicular cancer metastasizes to the deep lumbar nodes near the renal hilus because the testes develop embryologically within the abdominal cavity and then descent into the scrotum

:idea: Always go for para aortic nodes for testicular cancer...as per kaplan Q's

i once found written like this: testicular cancer metastazises to deep lumbar (para aortic) nodes.
may be it means they are synonymous or may vary
