Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Hi all,
Ok here it is. I failed step 2 the first time i took it nearly 5 1/2 years ago (yes, u read that right)...anyhow, fear of failure i guess forced me to put the exam off and i finished my residency recently. I can't put this off any longer, and other than psych which is the field i'm in, this stuff is far removed from me.

I have copies of kaplan notes, dvd's, qbank, and first aid step 2. i am not worried so much about the cs portion, but the ck is daunting.

i can't recall how much i need to know, eg. how much pharm i need to know for the various meds used, do i need to know specific abx for specific strains of bacteria, etc.

any thoughts how i should tackle this? my exam is may 31st, just about 2 1/2 months away.

also, i got burned copies of the kaplan stuff. how many dvd topics are there and how many different notes? i think i have 6 subjects worth of notes.

i really really appreciate any info guys...

Your situation is not unusual. Pik up your books and study again.. This time harder.. Good luck.

subscribe USMLEWORLD.com for 2 months. Go through each and every question. Read all explanations religiously. make notes onto your kaplan books.

I am sure you will be fine this time around. the most important thing is believe in your self.
