It was TOUGHER than I expected. I thought I have quite a good amount of clinical skills than most of other students because I am a GRADUATE already and have 1 year's clinical experience as an intern back in my country. But, the cases were so vague that I couldn't really think of any D/Ds in a few cases. And I didn't counsel in any case at all. Challenging questions were literally challenging. I didn't smile alot, I just can't imagine how one could smile in front of a sick patient. I was so busy making notes (because I wouldn't remember anything after I come out of the room) that I think I didn't make appropriate eye contacts too. What a terrible doctor!

OMG, I passed! I was 95% sure I would fail, but I passed! I just can't believe it. The SPs and usmle guys are sooooo generous that they accepted all the terrible mistakes I made! Good luck to you guys too!!

That's funny, neopulsar when you said both of us passed without practicing with each other. Actually besides you, I found several other potential partners. But I didn't practice with any of them because of numerous reasons, the major reason was distance. I hated to drive a long way. While I need to thank you for your ideas of practicing with your doll. I practiced with a teddy bear. My kids tried to help me as my patient, but they could not sit still for over 5 minutes. So I didn't use them as my helper. Glad to hear that you are doing great with your rotations. Maybe you can come to my house some weekend for a casual dinner.

Orthospine, if it is not this week, maybe you have to wait for next week. This Wednesday was the first day for score report for test takers as late as March 22. Wish you best of luck!
