I'm sorry about that, moe. Do not lose hope. Why don't you try to scramble? From what I know, FindaResident.com is pretty recent so most programs rarely check that or have time to search there. If i'm not mistaken, the fee is is 75 USD so if you could afford that, it's worth a try. It's like putting an ad of yourself on the site, and if the program is interested, it will contact you.

I checked out findaresident.com
They have very limited positions for PGY-1.
I wonder if it's even worth it, and if there will be more positions opening up later due to whatever reason like someone leaving the program, etc.
I know it's legit because it's run by AAMC, so they won't do anything to steal your money, but then again, it's still a gamble, and it's somewhat like another version of eras where you apply to the programs through their system.
Please let me know if you sign up and what your thoughts are because this is something I'm considering as well.
Thanks.

What I've heard from upperclassmen is that most training programs seem to want a more personalized way of finding a resident, or were not aware of the FindaResident existance.Very few of those I've known were successful with this service. It's up to you. Slots may be open as the beginning of residency approaches since there're some candicates have visa issues or decide to withdraw for family reasons. So you must be patient. If it doesn't work out this year, improve your CV and try out for next Match.

Good luck with the SCRAMBLE!

the warning says that it will overwrite the findaresident profile... check that. i have just created mine.
