Duke is filled. They never had any unfilled positions. I called the residency program and asked them myself.

which number did you call? the one I called I got it from the IM department - they transfered me to the IM residency program. I asked them specifically if this was the Duke IM residency program and the woman said yes and then I asked if they had unfilled positions. She said no we are completely filled. You probably had another number. If you want I can give you the one I called and you can find out for yourself

I was also surprised to see places like Mayo and Cleveland clinic with unfilled positions.
