hi,
im just starting my step3 prep. i have a doubt regarding ending ccs cases. say, if u have pulmonary embolism and after treatment with heaprin the pt gets better(pt in ward) and the 5 min warning screen pops up, what new orders are to be written?
is it necessary to write order for long ter warfarin therapy at that point ?
in otherwords, what orders are to be written for for a patient who is in emergency or ward or icu when the 5 min warning scren appear? immediate orders or expected long term treatment options for that particular case(ie, until the patient gets discharged home)?
