From your country is ok too. Make sure it signes with blue ink.

this isnt really related to the topic here, but recently (i am in India) and I was required to get a document signed by US notary....so the method is to call the US consulate in your homeplace...go to their american citizen services counter...pay 30 dollars per copy (thats the rate in India) and they will notarise ur form/photocopy as long as u camn show them ur original and passport for ID. Pretty straightforward...no much hassles except for the moolah I didnt know this could be done...so thought there may be more ppl like me and I should share...

thanks for the info. But they accepted my application signed by a notary public from my home country.
