different people think differently; criteria of what is tough is also different for people....it could be money for some, family commitments for others, studying, scoring, travelling abroad etc etc....why do u think its hard...let us know that first

for me iam single, no family commitments,i can study hard and i can live in US, but the thing is most of people around me are telling it is something hard, i mean to be matched, so why to waste yr time studying for the exams and applying for the match!!! i wish i can have someone to tell me go for it and do not hesitate, cuz most of them think its too hard to get a match......

well... people are telling u its hard and i could tell u its easy...none of that makes a difference! YOU have to decide if u are upto it....find out what it involves--the exams, the money, the time and the long term aim....then, its only you who can decide if its hard or easy for u.... every year thousands of IMGs match into residency programs...and many dont...I cannot say its a cake walk, but then nothing worth having ever is. I was a MD in my country and wanted to further specialise...i didnt see why it would be harder for me than for the other students who are trying...and getting thru...so i went for it...and am glad i did so... best of luck with whatever u decide!
