I matched to an advanced position but didnt find a pgy 1 position... Bottomline will have to struggle to find a pgy 1 position through the scramble..
Need some sincere advice and tips because this is completely unexpected and dont know were to start from...

So sorry for that my friend! But at least you got the most important part of it all which is the advanced position! I know nothing about the scramble so I can't help you on that but you need to stay focused and fight for your PGY-1 year so you can continue happilly with the rest which is the most important part for you. I wish you all the best and hope you get that position pronto!! Dales con todo!

Mazinger... I am sorry about your position. but It is true you got the toughest part done, so do not go desperate.... me on the other hand... unmatched.... totally unmatched....

prelim is harder than a 3 yr position
but you got the most important advanced position!
take any spot in scramble, no matter where, it just 1 yr.

You can CALL NRMP by phone and ask which state your advanced program is in. If you can guess which program it is, contact the PD asap so you can get help. How many advance programs are there in one state, right? good luck!

thank you all for your support.. Tried to get something through the scramble, but it was all useless...
The day is almost over and feel completel wrecked and decided to give it a rest until tomorrow... I have contacted through phone to every single program out there and no response from anoyone...

I am with you mazinger.... totally exhausted... all programs eventhough advertised as not filled yet, close the door in my face.... they don't even want to interact with me any more.
I am depressed and worse yet, no second year position to comfort myself with....

thx again my friends, I have lost hope in the scramble BID, Sinai miami programs have unfilled positions... Not answering emails or anything.. Just hoping the PD of my advanced position can make a turn things in a positive way-...
