congrats bullrunner... thanks oxitocin... I am totally down I can not believe it.... i feel distroyed... In a few hours the second hell will start (scramble) there is only 12 positions left in the entire country for OB, and as you may imagine for my avtar, I am bound to NY because of my family, in the north east region there is only one position open... so I guess I will try for surgery prelim...
I had 8 IVs, I don't understand what they want

mu heart is hurting for you. I know how dedicated you are to the field of ObGyn. It will happen for you. I also can not guess what went wrong - maybe you put the programs in the wrong order  I also did not match. My best friend says it's because I am missing the ECFMG certificate (I have passed the exams, but ECFMG is still processing my med school transcript, so I do not have the certificate in hand). Do you think that is a reasonable explanation or is it just comfort talk???

the truth dearfriend is that they had way too many good people at hand, many americans applying, I saw that in the university programs, very often I was the only IMG ... so that explains a lot, now for the community programs, we where all IMG's but I am sure people with higher scores than mine, or in your case, with the ECFMG certificate at hand... just too many good people despite the fact that everybody says that no one is applying to OB....
it shows on the unfilled position stats. Only 12 positions left in the entire country, vs, 100's for other specialties.
