moa;not well known,?related to phoshoinositol cascade adverse effx;hypothyroidism, nephrogenic diabetes insipidus due to ADH antagonism(tx with amiloride,indapamide) teratogenesis tremors clin use;bipolar disorder(mood stabilizer) add more info pls.

how does it cause DI and hypothyroidism? what is cardiac teratogenicity ass with?

it uncouples receptor from their second messanger system....i.e..TSH -binds its receptor ..but adenylate cyclase system is not activated...similarly ADH binds its receptor..but adenylate cyclase is not activated 8)
