Hey guys, i was wondering if i was ok with the 2009 match in case i do step 2 ck and cs in august.

I am planning to apply through eras early and then wait till the ck results come out and be automatically updated on my eras page.

You should be fine...
when you get your scores send an letter via email to all the programs you applied to... let them know you have updated scores and is now ECFMG certified!
August isn't too late at all - Step 2 score should be in by Sept, and CS should be shortly thereafter (depends on the CS score reporting schedule - you need to check that out on the ECFMG website)
My sugesstion is to be certified by october... oct-dec are the big months for Interview invites

coca cola thx man for the reply...what a reliefsmiling face i was only concerned coz one of my friends told me that programs start to view one's profile as early as september 1st so do u have any idea if that's true....if not , can u tell me when do they start doing that approximately....again appreciated ur feed soo much smiling face

your friend is right... but only a few start weeding through applications and sending invites in early september... check out the experiences on this thread

Of course the best case scenario is to be certified and apply on Sept 1st...

i put in some applications in mid-sept and some the end of sept... still got a good number of invites... Oct - December is when invites really start pouring in...
