Dear friends
I need your advice badly. I was plannig to do my step 1 exam in 10 days. But last week one of my friends comitted suicide and I've been very sad and distracted. I'm getting better but still problems concentrating and mostly sleeping.. I'm having my exam in 20 days instead. I feel so confused right now and would be happy if you could help me. I'm doing UW and scoring 70-80s. Kaplan qbank done 50% and really didn't like it so much, scored 60% the new 2008 version.
What should I do the last days?? I.m doinng FA and UW and listening to Goljan audio. My friend has his notes too but it's almost 1000 pages if I'm right. Do you think i should read them or read my kaplan books for the last time???

I´m truly sorry about your friend. You´re right, life sometimes is sadly unpredictable.
About your questions: I wouldn´t bother with someone elses notes. They´re not yours and not written down the way you would have probably done it. Focus on texts you know already. Like your Kaplan book. Read only the topics you´re not sure of. Something that you truly know, don´t repeat it.
You got a great score on UW! Congratulations!
Besides the confusion and grief about your friend, try the exam in 20 days. I think, he/she would be proud of you and wouldn´t want you to stop going on with your own life.

I´m having my Step 1 tomorrow. So the only thing I can do now is pray and hope for the best.
