Dear friends, do you know if in mexico city embassy or any other, you´re able to get the H1B visa on the same day of the iv at the embassy?, how is the visa physically?, is it attached to your passport or is it a separate card?

The visa is a sticker placed in your passport.
Sorry - I can't answer your other questions. (In the UK, the consulate holds onto your passport for a couple of days and then mails it to you.)
